Family Hope Shelter
In 2020, the Bezos Day 1 Families Fund granted Poverello House $2.5 million to create and manage an emergency shelter for unhoused families.
Every family is provided shelter at the facility in a private unit with a bathroom, kitchenette, bedroom, and living space.
All shelters at Poverello House provide 24-hour staffing, three hot meals daily, laundry service, case management, daily enrichment services, and immediate linkages to mental health services.
